Avocado-Carrot Face Mask

Simple to make and rich in anti-oxidants this mask will help improve the texture and tone of your skin.

To make this you will need:

  • 1 carrot (cooked and well mashed)
  • 1 avocado (mashed)
  • 1/2 cup cream 
  • 3 tablespoons liquid honey
  • 1 beaten egg yolk (optional)
Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and blend until you have a smooth, but not runny, paste. You may need to adjust the amount of cream used to get a good consistency.

Apply to your face and neck. Leave for 10 to 15 minutes, then rinse. Follow with your usual toner and moisturiser.

Note: natural yoghurt can be used in place of cream if you prefer
